Bohol Day Celebration Welcomes the Philippine President

By June Blanco   True to her commitment, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will visit Bohol for the second time this year – as guest of honor and speaker during the 155th Bohol Day celebration .   The President will be coming in on July 21 from a Cabinet meeting in Mindanao, enjoy a cruise on the Loboc River anew, rest overnight, speak during the commemorative program at the Bohol Cultural Center on July 22, preside over inauguration of new buildings and offices and lead launching rites for new projects before enplaning back to Manila. The center is a fully air-conditioned facility of the provincial government where close to 3,000 people will listen to her speak.   At the program revolving on the theme Together We can Build a Greater Bohol, she will be conferred the Datu Sikatuna Award of Excellence – Pasidungog nga wa'y Makatupong – by Gov. Erico Aumentado, Vice Gov. Julius Caesar Herrera and Bohol's three congressmen: Edgar Chatto, Roberto Cajes and Adam Relson Jala.   Aum
